Big news from the Tower team: We are officially SOC 2 Type 2 compliant!

Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance is a massive milestone for us. It reflects our commitment to enterprise-grade security, data privacy, and operational excellence. But security isn't the only thing we've been scaling lately.

Expanding Our Footprint: Hello, US West!

We are also thrilled to announce the immediate availability of our second US data processing region: AWS us-west-2 (Oregon).

With this launch, developers and data teams on the US West Coast can now execute Tower runs directly next to where their data lives, minimizing latency and maximizing performance. This expansion rounds out our rapidly growing global infrastructure footprint:

• US West Coast: us-west-2 (Oregon) - Now Live!

• US East Coast: us-east-1 (N. Virginia) - Launched in April

• Europe: eu-central-1 (Frankfurt)

3x Growth: The Python Era is Accelerating

• App Runs Tripled: Our monthly usage, expressed in the total number of Python app runs, has tripled since March. Tower is now reliably executing hundreds of thousands of runs per month, handling everything from standard database migrations to complex data agent reasoning loops.

• SDK Downloads Doubled: Developers are diving in fast. Weekly PyPI downloads of the Tower SDK have doubled from March to June.
