Can You Build an Entire Working ETL Pipeline Without Coding At All?

Now, with Tower Control, you can.
Building data pipelines shouldn't require an afternoon of local environment setup just to test a simple idea. Historically, setting up data infrastructure has meant wrestling with complex configurations, managing messy dependencies, and worrying about the long-term maintenance of fragile code. It is often a painful, time-consuming bottleneck that keeps good ideas from getting off the ground.
Today, we are launching the open beta of Tower Control to change that. After running a successful private beta where we worked closely with users to refine and improve the experience, we are thrilled to open it up to the public.
Why Did We Build an Effortless Data Infrastructure AI Assistant?
There is a clear shift happening in developer experience across the industry. People are increasingly relying on AI agents/assistants for their daily workflows. But an assistant has yet to exist that can truly help build entire data pipelines without requiring some amount of manual coding, local environment setup, or external faffing around Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or other platforms.
We built Tower Control to empower everyone, whether technical or not, to build working pipelines from scratch that just work. Our goal is to provide a zero-friction way for anyone to sign up and instantly start creating robust data infrastructure. With Tower Control, anyone can get a project or idea off the ground to a place where they can test and iterate on it, without fear or waiting until someone more technical can help. Start testing your idea right away to see if it has legs before pulling in engineering time!
Tower already supports AI agents through our MCP server and skills. Tower Control is a natural extension of this ecosystem, sharing the same authentication as the main Tower application.
Our core goal is simple: to provide the absolute easiest way to start new data projects.

What is Tower Control?
Tower Control is a new subproduct of Tower. Tower Control is powered by an AI coding assistant that enables a browser-based builder for Tower applications. Instead of configuring tooling on your local machine, you can write and test applications directly in your browser using a familiar chat interface.
It makes it incredibly easy to spin up projects, build data pipelines effortlessly, and test ideas on the fly. Once you have built something, you can deploy it straight to the Tower infrastructure to test and run it, all without leaving your browser window.
How It Fits Into Your Workflow
Tower Control shines when you need to start a new project or validate an idea fast. We expect it to be a massive help for a few key scenarios:
Product, Marketing, and Operations:
You do not need to be a seasoned data engineer to use Tower Control. If you are with the product management, marketing, or operations teams (developer or not) and need data pipelines fast, this is for you. It offers transparent, easy architecture setup where you do not need to worry about writing code, opening terminals, or stressing over long-term maintenance.New Users and Teams:
If you want to see what our infrastructure can do without installing the MCP server, skills, or CLI, Tower Control lets you test everything with zero local setup. It is the perfect sandbox to build a working pipeline from scratch in minutes.Existing Customers:
Got a new pipeline idea you want to validate? Tower Control handles the heavy lifting of bootstrapping a new application.
